Pete Doherty has announced a UK headline tour for 2027, his first run of dates with his current solo band in the country. Tickets for the shows went on general sale on the day of the announcement.
The run opens at the Komedia in Bath on February 1 and closes at Hackney Church in London on February 12. In between, the tour takes in Brighton, Falmouth, Southampton, Nottingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Holmfirth and Kidderminster, covering a wide spread of towns across England.
The band lining up behind Doherty features Mike Joyce, the former Smiths drummer, on drums and Mike Moore on guitar. Mark Neary, Jack Jones and Katia deVidas complete the lineup, with deVidas on keys. The setlist is set to draw on Doherty's solo material alongside songs from Babyshambles, The Libertines and The Smiths, giving fans a broad cross-section of his career.
The tour arrives on the back of a busy stretch of activity. Doherty's latest solo album, Felt Better Alive, peaked at No. 7 on the UK albums chart. Babyshambles are also preparing to release a live album, Live At KOKO, next week. Late in 2025 the band put out Dandy Hooligan, their first new song in 12 years.
Doherty has said the band is still unsure whether new songs will end up as Babyshambles material or as part of The Libertines' work. Babyshambles remain unsigned and operate autonomously, with no record deal currently in place. The Libertines released their most recent album, All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade, in 2024, and a possible concept for their next record has been reported, though details have not been confirmed.
