Ukrainian digital studio Sponge has designed and launched an official website for Ukrainian singer SOWA, available at. The site opened in September 2026 in two languages, Ukrainian and English, and was presented as an example of Ukrainian creative work continuing despite the war.
The homepage opens with an endless video feed of clips featuring the singer, which lets visitors move through her visual work without choosing a section first. Below it, the site is organised into horizontally scrolling sections. The music section includes her album and singles with links to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and Deezer, so listeners can move from the site directly to the platform of their choice. Other sections cover her music videos, her biography, media publications about her and contact information. The project is also listed in the portfolio of Sponge on its own website, spng.space.
SOWA was born in 2004 in Lviv. She made her debut in 2020 with the single «Ріка», and in 2021 she recorded the duet «Таємний знак» with MELOVIN. In 2023 she released her debut album «Вініл», which contains 16 songs. Since the start of the full-scale war, she has released another album and almost two dozen singles, and she performs at charity concerts for members of the military. In 2026 she released the singles In Her Control, «Хаос» and «До безкінечності», which are now also presented on the new site.
Sponge is a Ukrainian studio that works with Ukrainian musicians and brands and has been building digital projects for more than 25 years, since 2000. It was founded by Bohdan Hnatiuk and has its roots in Odesa. The studio has worked for the food company Obolon and the retailer Rozetka, built a website for the artist Artem Pivovarov, and created the visual identity of the Odrex clinic as well as the television channels KTK and «Перший міський». According to the studio, it has produced hundreds of websites and digital products over its history and has received professional awards for its work.
The launch of also points to a wider pattern in Ukrainian entertainment during the war, in which artists and the companies that serve them keep releasing music, building audiences and maintaining a public presence. For SOWA, a dedicated website brings together the material that was previously spread across streaming platforms, video services and media coverage, giving fans a single point of entry to her career.
