Christine and the Queens announces new single and winter UK and European shows

Christine and the Queens has announced a new single due next week, along with four intimate underplay concerts in Brussels, London, Amsterdam and Paris this winter.

Christine and the Queens has announced a new single and a run of intimate live shows across the UK and Europe this winter, marking the French artist's most concrete move toward a return after a period of quiet. The single is due next week, and four underplay concerts will take place in December.

The singer first began hinting at a comeback earlier this month, wiping social media channels clean and posting photos from inside the studio with the caption: « Folks, we cooked it enough. I think it's time we play you the music. Stay tuned for more, and soon! » The new announcement followed that teaser, with details of the track still largely under wraps. According to a new Instagram post, the single appears to be titled « Rendez-Vous Avec Toi » and is set for release on Wednesday, November 4. The accompanying caption read: « I've been thinking about it for a long time. Of when. I'll come starred with music. And we'll dream together once again. »

Shortly after the single was revealed, the artist posted details of the upcoming underplay gigs. The shows begin at the Botanique venue in Brussels on December 1, followed by a date at London's Scala on December 7. Further performances are scheduled at Amsterdam's Tolhuistuin on December 8 and at Paris's Alhambra on December 10. « Dear comrades, I've missed you, » the singer wrote on Instagram. « Back on stage for four very special shows. A moment of live music, shared together, before the next journey begins. » Tickets go on sale from Monday, November 2, at 10:30am CET and 9:30am GMT.

The last studio album from Christine and the Queens was 2023's « Paranoïa, Angels, True Love. » The artist also released the « Hopecore » album in 2024 under the moniker Rahim Redcar. Earlier this year, the artist joined forces with Thee Diane on the single « Ah Ya, » having previously performed it together at Paris's Centre Pompidou last October. Thee Diane also appeared on the cover artwork for the 2022 album « Redcar les adorables étoiles. » Before that, the artist played in Paris in autumn 2025 and performed some tracks for the first time in six years. Earlier in 2025, Redcar also accused Lorde of copying him « without crediting me as an inspiration. »
