Study Sets Upper Limit of Weather Predictability at 129 Days

Researchers at the University of Miami and NOAA CIMAS estimate that skilful weather forecasts could theoretically extend to about 129 days, far beyond the current 14-day ceiling, by analyzing the atmosphere's energy turnover time.
