The message, sent Tuesday on the social platform X, praised the shared responsibility for NATO's Eastern Flank from the Baltic to the Black Sea in terms so specific that Estonian officials reportedly felt a physical structure was the only appropriate response. The post features a 14-meter observation tower painted in the blue, black, and white of the Estonian flag, a functioning checkpoint booth, and a ceremonial gate that is raised and lowered twice daily to the tune of both national anthems.
