The manager announced the measure after an unbeaten start to the season, explaining that winning without sufficient enjoyment is «a hollow pursuit».
Under the new regime, players sleep in bunk beds installed between rows of seats and are woken every two hours by a whistle that Farke personally blows from the centre circle. Training now runs around the clock, with sessions alternating between tactical drills and mandatory laughter exercises. A club spokesman confirmed that the squad has not left the stadium in nine days and that the grass is being cut by players who have been «very, very happy about it».
Farke has also ordered the construction of a 40-metre fun slide from the directors' box to the dugout, which he uses to enter the pitch before matches. Visiting teams have been informed that they must slide down it too. «We are not just building a football team,» Farke said. «We are building a feeling.»
