Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger will begin streaming on Disney+ on October 9, giving fans who missed the theatrical run a chance to experience the film from home. The concert documentary, which chronicles the Britpop band's 2025 reunion tour, will include exclusive unseen footage that was not part of the cinema release.
The film first arrived in UK cinemas on September 9 and has, until now, only been available on the big screen. Its streaming debut will allow viewers to, in the words of the announcement, «relive the event» with added material. The movie follows the Gallagher brothers' highly anticipated return to the stage, featuring concert performances, behind-the-scenes moments and a joint interview with Liam and Noel Gallagher.
Directed by Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, the pair behind the 2022 documentary Meet Me In The Bathroom, the film was written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight. Knight also produced alongside Sam Bridger, Guy Heeley and Tom Mackay. The soundtrack is stacked with Oasis staples, including «Live Forever», «Champagne Supernova» and «Cigarettes & Alcohol», while «Listen Up», a track from the B-side compilation The Masterplan, plays over the closing credits.
The documentary has been warmly received, with a four-and-a-half-star review praising its irreverence and intense passion. The review noted that the film reclaims the narrative around the band and relives one of the most momentous tours of modern times, capturing the impact of Oasis over its two-hour runtime. In the final moments, Liam Gallagher is quoted as saying, «Oasis saves».
Around the cinema release, Steven Knight spoke about the «healing» process of reuniting the once-warring Gallagher brothers. Lovelace and Southern also discussed what went into making the film, paying tribute to late Stone Roses icon Mani and celebrating the «genius» of Bonehead.
The streaming announcement comes as Oasis prepare for their Live '27 stadium shows across the UK, Ireland, mainland Europe and the US. The run follows the Live '25 reunion trek, which saw the band return to stages after years apart. Tickets for Live '27 went on sale over the weekend through a staggered process that differed noticeably from the chaotic original reunion sale in August 2024, when hundreds of thousands of fans spent hours in online queues, websites buckled under demand and some buyers found tickets dramatically more expensive than expected.
All tickets for the Live '27 dates have now sold out, and the band have stated that no further shows will be added. Ahead of the sale, Oasis issued an urgent scam warning, and Noel Gallagher promised the concerts would be an improvement on the previous reunion run. He has also dismissed rumours of new music, echoing comments Liam made on X, while Liam has suggested the new run could be Oasis' last.
The Live '25 setlist remained virtually unchanged throughout the comeback tour, but fans have been calling for rarities such as «Columbia», «Round Are Way», «Listen Up», «Gas Panic» and «Go Let It Out» to return in 2027. Oasis have already shared information on transport, camping, hospitality and accessibility plans for their Knebworth gigs. Speculation about a Glastonbury 2027 slot has been shot down by Emily Eavis.
For now, the Disney+ release offers a way to revisit the reunion tour from home, with the added draw of footage that cinema audiences never saw. The film stands as both a document of a historic comeback and a portrait of two brothers whose partnership remains one of rock's most volatile and compelling stories.
