James Gunn Personally Delivers Peacemaker's Helmet to Every DC Fan, One Door at a Time

DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn has launched a door-to-door helmet delivery service for every Peacemaker fan, while John Cena waits in a folding chair outside the studio.

DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn has personally begun hand-delivering Peacemaker's reflective helmet to every fan who has ever watched the show, one doorstep at a time, in what studio staff are calling the DCU Character Reallocation Initiative.

Gunn reportedly started the route at 4 a.m. on Monday, carrying a single chrome helmet in a padded case and a clipboard listing every registered viewer. At each stop, he knocks twice, announces «Peacemaker is taking a back seat,» hands over the helmet, and walks to the next house. By Thursday he had covered eleven time zones and was still going.

John Cena, informed of the plan, arrived at the studio in full costume and was told to wait in a folding chair outside Stage 7. He has been sitting there for six days, holding a sign that reads «I'll put it on whenever.» Studio security has been bringing him water.

«We had to address the really valuable ones first,» Gunn said from a driveway in Ohio, adjusting the helmet under one arm. «Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman. Peacemaker fans get the helmet personally. It's more efficient this way.»

Neighborhoods along the route have adjusted. In one cul-de-sac, residents now leave porch lights on all night and a bowl of protein bars by the door. In another, a homeowner has built a small wooden platform so the helmet can be displayed at eye level. Gunn has reportedly declined all offers of coffee, saying he has «a whole box of toys to get through.»

Cena remains outside Stage 7, telling reporters he still feels there is «unfinished business.» He has not been given a delivery route.
