BMW has introduced its first loyalty discounts for the 2027 X5 and iX3 in the United States, according to dealer bulletins, marking an early move to incentivise two of its most important models shortly after launch. The 2027 X5 is eligible for a $1,000 loyalty discount on purchase or lease, while the all-electric iX3 receives a $500 credit. Both offers arrived this month and can be combined with BMW's current 4.99% APR financing deal over 60 months.
The discounts are modest in scale, but their timing is notable. BMW has typically waited longer before putting incentives behind newly launched vehicles, particularly for a model as significant as the iX3, which is the first SUV built on its Neue Klasse platform. The $500 loyalty credit is the first incentive of any kind for the new iX3, which has so far been rolled out with no other rebates available. The offer does not require a trade-in, can be transferred to another member of the same household, and does not require dealer participation, making it relatively straightforward for eligible BMW customers to claim.
For the X5, the $1,000 loyalty discount is available alongside the 4.99% APR financing deal. However, buyers focused strictly on value may find stronger offers on the outgoing 2026 X5, which currently carries 0.9% APR financing for 60 months, a $1,000 APR credit, and up to $2,000 in loyalty discounts. Those incentives are scheduled to run through September 30, as BMW looks to clear inventory ahead of the arrival of the next-generation G65 X5.
The 2027 X5 starts at $74,200 for the 40 xDrive variant, with a rear-wheel-drive version expected to follow in the first quarter of next year at a starting price of around $71,900. Pricing could fall further once the currently mandatory $650 Glass Controls feature becomes an optional add-on that buyers can remove. The iX3 is currently offered exclusively as the 50 xDrive from $62,850, though more affordable 40 and 40 xDrive versions are expected to join the range later.
The gap between the two loyalty offers — $1,000 for the X5 and $500 for the iX3 — reflects the difference in their starting prices, but the broader significance lies in how quickly BMW has moved to support both vehicles. The incentives are set to expire on September 30, giving the company room to adjust its offers again in the coming weeks. For now, neither discount represents a dramatic price cut, but they signal that BMW is willing to use targeted incentives to keep momentum behind its newest SUVs while managing the transition from older stock.
